Benefactor Emergency Care

While a doctor is available to you at all times, there are many medical situations that require more advanced care. If you have an emergency – dial 9-1-1 or go directly to the nearest Emergency Room. For other urgent problems, not requiring emergency care, call your physician directly.

Call your doctor’s regular cell number. You will be able to speak to your physician, or be directed to the physician on call, for advice or to arrange a doctor visit.

We are able to take care of patients in the hospital for most illnesses unless intensive care is needed.  We can oversee care and coordinate with required specialists.

There may occasionally be a situation where a patient is unable to come into the office. In these instances, a doctor will be available to see you in your home at a mutually agreeable time. For patients who are unable to come to the office, or are in a persistent non-ambulatory state (i.e., cannot come to the office regularly or if they are ill, or are in a custodial care facility or nursing home) we have a Homebound Benefactor category that provides direct primary care in the patient’s residence, coordinates with caregivers, and regularly communicates family.
